Please find attached a public service announcement regarding a Candidate Forum taking place in Ocala, FL on Saturday, July 31st. 2010. Candidates running in National, State and Local offices are attending to participate in a moderated question and answer period. The purpose of this event is to allow the voters to meet and listen to the candidates so they can make informed decisions at the voting booth. On August 11th, 2010, the Bell Shoals Baptist Church - Community Issues Team will host the 2010 Candidate Forum, a free community event designed to enlighten the voters of Hillsborough County. All candidates, regardless of party affiliation or political views, running for public office on the national, state, or local... level in Hillsborough County have been invited to come and meet with the people they wish to represent. The Forum has been hosted at Bell Shoals Baptist Church each election year since 1994. The size of the event has grown along with the surrounding area, with nearly 60 candidates and 1,000 citizens expected to be in attendance this year.
